Harrison Locks is offering Star Priority Dealership for its fast growing range of products. The company also plans to appoint sales consultants. A market leader in the locks category, the company has entered into new segments including hardware, security alarms and kitchen baskets. Besides, it has also expanded its presence deep into rural areas and semi rural areas.
The Star Priority Dealers (SPDs), according to the company, will be based in prime locations with heavy footfall for retail, and will primarily deal in Harrison locks and hardware items. “They should have good and impressive showrooms and be able to provide space for all our product displays and branding,” shares Umang Monga, director of the company. He adds that the concept of SPD is applicable for one dealer in a particular area of prime location, wherein Harrison will compliment his efforts with branding, additional margins, media support, and promotion on social media as well as by organising carpenter meets.
“All cities with over three lakh population can be considered for such a concept,” says Monga. He asserts that this is an opportunity for all A-class dealers from on across India to become associated as an exclusive Harrison priority dealer.
Monga states that the company will also appoint sales consultants. These are people who have vital contacts in industrial, government and builder segments and can generate leads for Harrison products. “Sales consultants will be enabled to procure business for the company on incentive basis.”
