Decowood, from the house of Greenlam Industries, has introduced a new range of premium veneers called Distressed Collection. The company claims it to be a first of its kind concept in India.

Commenting on the launch of new range, Parul Mittal, director-design & marketing at Greenlam Industries Ltd, said, “We are delighted to announce the launch of the Distressed Veneer Collection. Distressed Veneer has been designed in sync with new age interior trends like the hipster and grungy look. It is very current, fresh and contemporary keeping in mind the preferences of our consumers. We at Greenlam believe in coming up with trendy designs combined with innovation in technology.”

Mittal believes that furniture crafted in its natural colour enhances the interiors to give it a warm and cosy feel. “Raw textures are versatile and look attractive; the old yet new look of ‘distressed’ comes in its finest worn out look. With its rustic and rugged, yet sophisticated character, it also incorporates the feeling of outdoor right in the comforts of home. It highlights distressed wood finish and organic patterns that bring a sense of tranquillity in the atmosphere.”

The Distressed Veneers collection is available in six variants, viz. Plus Oak, Plus Walnut, Knotty Oak, Knotty Pine, Oak Parquet, and Teak Grandeur. The exquisite detailing in the range, and natural colours bringing out the mineral streaks and flaws of the wood, enhances the aesthetic outlook and enables customers to give an opulent and luxurious look to their home.
