Upping the ante for the competition, water purification major Kent RO has announced that it will offer extended four years free service on its water purification products. The extended free service will consist of one year warranty and three years of free service. Through this move Kent RO wants to ensure that its consumers do not fall prey to sub-standard services and spare parts offered by local service providers present in the market. This move will in turn enhance the customer’s service and ownership experience.
“Often consumers do not understand the rationale behind regular quality service and maintenance, which is needed to ensure that filters run properly, there is supply of pure water, and the life of RO water purifier is preserved,” says Dr Mahesh Gupta, chairman of Kent RO Systems Ltd.
Gupta adds that it is due to ignorance that consumers switch to cheaper and local filters which do not yield the desired results. “Also, there are fake and cheap alternatives available with local service providers, which although cut their cost in the short term but prove to be more expensive in the long run as they completely damage the RO purifier.”
According to Gupta, the four-year warranty on Kent RO is a step to counter the prevailing practice of using filters that are cheap and of poor quality. “We are the first in the market to introduce such an offer. We believe this support from the company will help create awareness that customers should avoid getting their servicing done from unauthorised service providers, and also not opt for fake or sub-standard parts as they are likely to damage the machine as well the quality of the water.”
