New Delhi-based kitchen hardware and fittings manufacturer Elxi Ventures is eyeing to spread its wings across the country by 2020 end. The company offers kitchen drawer and wardrobe systems, hinges, pantry units, bottle pullouts and ancillaries, elevators, handles, and profiles.
The company has 150 dealers and five distributors in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. “Our focus for the next year is to penetrate further to these states,” says the company’s co-founder Gurdeep Sethi. “Also we would like to mark an entry in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha.
According to Sethi, Elxi aims to have a pan-India presence by the end of 2020 through a network of 500 dealers and 15 distributors.
Informing about the investment required from potential channel partners, Sethi says that initially, a dealer will have to invest Rs 2.5 lakh and a distributor will have to invest Rs 10 lakh. “This investment is towards inventory. For branding and display, we will consider sharing the cost with the channel partner, depending on the space being allocated to the Elxi brand.”
Sethi added, “We shall provide all the necessary training to our channel partners. In terms of handholding, we intend to do everything on the ground to make this partnership succeed and grow which will include, and is not limited to, carpenter meets, architect meets, event participations, co-branding or any other activities as we may require for a specific territory.”
