Laminate major Greenlam Industries Ltd (GIL) has announced that its in-house R&D team has developed a product with antivirus attributes. With the new feature, GIL will retard and kill up to 99.99% of viruses that come in contact with the surface. This has been tested and certified under Antiviral Efficacy Test as per ISO21702:2019 International Standard, by Biotech Testing Services (BTS) Mumbai, the company said.
“The entire world has been talking about different ways of maintaining hygiene both indoors and outdoors since the pandemic started. With a vision to help our customers build a safe environment, we are excited to announce that our laminates have been certified with antivirus attributes.
