AkzoNobel, makers of Dulux Paints in India, has introduced two new products in the Dulux Professional catalogue viz Dulux Professional Weathershield TR E2000 and Dulux Professional Weathershield Creation Stonetex. The introduction of two new products adds to its portfolio of 18 products. According to the company, the two new offerings are scientifically formulated to ensure durability and are designed to meet the needs and professional requirements in residential, commercial, education, healthcare or hospitality sector.
“The entire Dulux Professional range is certified under GreenPro by CII-GBC and by GRIHA under high-SRI for exteriors,” informed Rajiv Rajgopal, managing director, AkzoNobel India, and added that the tropical Indian climatic conditions require best-in-class, durable and extensive protection for exteriors. “Understanding this, our latest offerings-Dulux Professional Weathershield TR E2000 and Dulux Professional Weathershield Creation Stonetex is an endeavour in providing sustainable solutions for varied needs,” remarked Rajgopal.
Sharing the specifics of the products he said that Dulux Professional Weathershield TR E2000, an exterior paint, is powered by TimeResist™ technology that prevents fading, algae resistance and dirt retention. “The extended product life cycle makes it sustainable with a longer maintenance cycle of over 15 years reducing its the carbon footprint by over 50% in comparison to standard exterior emulsions,” he added. “The product, like all Weathershield range, has also been enhanced with SunReflect™ technology that reduces exterior surface temperature by up to 5°C, saving up to 15% per annum on the energy used to cool the building,” he said. On Dulux Professional Weathershield Creation Stonetex, Rajgopal informed that it is a premium stone-like texture coating that provides the natural stone effect. “This water-based textured coating paint contains selected natural and synthetic UV-resistant coloured stones and aggregates bound by 100% acrylic polymer. It is suitable for both exterior & interior application,” he shared.
