Furniture fittings specialist Blum India has launched its first experience centre in Sri Lanka. This move marks the Austrian brand’s expansion within the subcontinent. Blum has a network of 60 experience centres in India including in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Raipur, Jodhpur, Gwalior, Kochi and Hyderabad.
The Sri Lanka experience centre has been established in partnership with Prudential International Pvt Ltd in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte. It was inaugurated by Blum India managing director Nadeem Patni and Aslam Mohideen, CEO of Prudential International last week.
According to Patni, the Blum experience centre will usher in a new era of living space experience in Sri Lanka. “Sri Lankans will now be able to explore Blum’s acclaimed solutions including hinges, lift systems, drawers, modular kitchen accessories, motion technologies for their living areas like kitchens and bedrooms, and applications like kitchen cabinets and wardrobes.”
While speaking at the centre’s opening, Patni said, “Today we celebrate a new milestone with the opening of our very first Blum experience centre in Sri Lanka, here in Kotte. We are delighted to have inaugurated this centre in collaboration with our trusted partner, Prudential International. This momentous occasion further bolsters our spirits to bring Blum closer to our customers across borders, giving them a first-hand experience of Blum quality and its potential in enhancing modular kitchen cabinets and the overall quality of living.”
