Aligarh-based Adarsh Industries is keen to expand its distribution network in India as well as Nepal. The company manufactures zinc and SS mortise handles, door locks and cupboard locks under the Duke brand.
“We are assessing the market scenario and are keen to expand our market base beyond our traditional stronghold. We are exploring the markets in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, and would like to appoint dealers and distributors for our hardware products in these markets,” shared Ashu Sharma, managing director of the company.
“We cordially welcome interested and genuine distributors and dealers from these regions to partner with us and create a win-win trader-manufacturer business relation,” said Sharma. He emphasised that the Duke product range is of high quality, yet reasonably priced. “Quality product at reasonable prices is our motto. We have a very strong technical base with skilled manpower, experienced managerial staff, etc,” he said, speaking of the company’s manufacturing abilities.
While not putting a number to the dealerships and distributorships on offer, Sharma said, “While we seek to add business partners this year, we are not guided by a fixed target. We have the region in mind, and depending on the interest shown by prospective partners and market potential we will offer dealerships and distributorships.” The company at present has 20 business partners.
While the company is exploring the Indian market, Sharma shared that he has his eyes set on the neighbouring Nepal market as well. “We have been traditionally very good in the southern markets, so our next focus will be the northern markets. This will expand our network significantly in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.”
