FFSC has informed that it has onboarded 50 new industry members in the current financial year. This is an 85 per cent increase in industry members as compared to the previous year. It has also increased the number of its Skill Ambassadors from 76 to 587 across India. As FFSC membership grows, there is increasing awareness about the benefits of skilling the workforce for common growth.
“At FFSC we truly believe that our collective efforts will make us more competitive as an industry, and we will be better together,” says CEO Rahul Mehta.
According to Mehta, the FFSC Skill Pavilion at Indiawood 2022 and Delhiwood 2023 were a display of the power of skills and FFSC’s collaborative approach. “Our industry partners from various sub-sectors like wood, panels, machining, power tools, furniture and events came together to build the Skill Pavilion in a collaborative approach. We are also proud of the fact that the Skill Pavilion was designed, built, and installed completely in-house by FFSC skill experts.”
