Harrison to Participate in Big 5, Dubai

Locks and security solutions major Harrison is all set to participate in The Big 5, the largest international building and construction show of the Middle East. The Big 5 is being organised in Dubai from 26-29 November at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Harrison has been working to build its presence in international markets, setting up associations and networks in South America, US, Dubai, Oman, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Nepal and African countries etc. The company feels that participation in international trade shows will help it tap into new markets and strengthen its foothold in its existing Middle-Eastern markets. Harrison will use its participation in Big 5 to showcase its new security solutions, and will present itself as a one-stop solution provider for kitchen accessories. The company had recently diversified into the modular kitchen segment with the launch of kitchen wire baskets and other related products, which are being marketed under the new brand ā€˜The Kitchenā€™.

ā€œWe provide all types of safety features from numbered locks to smart keys locks which cannot be duplicated. Harrison through its latest technology is getting popular in foreign countries and demand for its products is increasing,ā€ shared Umang Monga, the companyā€™s managing director. The locking majorā€™s latest range of main door locks includes Jazz, Manor Series, Shield and Armour.

Besides being a regular participant at trade events, Harrison has been coming up with innovative ways to connect with customers and end users. ā€˜Harrison on Wheelsā€™ and ā€˜Harrison Carpenter Pathshalaā€™ are two such initiatives. Sharing the logic behind ā€˜Harrison on Wheelsā€™, Monga said, ā€œThe thought process behind the Harrison display van was to have it travel across the country and educate customers about applications and features of all new products, and get their feedback.ā€ As for the carpenter training program, the effort was to educate carpenters and installers about the best way to install Harrison products.

Harrisonā€™s newest initiative – The Harrison DNA ā€“ is setting up display and application centers which not only showcase Harrison products but also display the application of each of them. ā€œThe idea is to help customers understand the application and enable them to choose or customise the best product as per their requirement.ā€ ')}
