BUDGET 2023: In the present scenario, India is on track to dominate the sale of services and products to the world and is in direct competition with Chin. It is therefore appropriate that the government should boost exports, and incentivise exporters to dominate global markets.
The government must also control the prices of fuel and gas. Alternately, high-energy consuming products must be given higher incentives so that they remain competitive in the global markets.
This is the time that the government acts like what the Chinese did in early 2000 to 2010, by incentivising their exporters directly. With such support, they made their products extremely competitive and could capture a lion’s share of the world trade.
