India Kitchen Congress Renews Key Industry Partnerships for IKC 2026

India Kitchen Congress (IKC), India’s leading conference for the modular kitchen, furniture, and interior design ecosystem, has renewed strategic partnerships with five apex bodies for IKC 2026. The Furniture & Fittings Skill Council (FFSC), Association of Designers of India (ADI), Retail Design Institute – India City Centre (RDI), Federation of Indian Plywood and Panel Industry (FIPPI), and the India Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers’ & Traders Association (IWMMTA) will once again collaborate with IKC as Knowledge Partners and Industry Partners.

Welcoming the renewed alliances, Deepak Gupta, Conference Director of India Kitchen Congress, said, “Our partnerships with FFSC, ADI, RDI, FIPPI and IWMMTA reaffirm IKC’s
commitment to bringing the most relevant and diverse knowledge streams to the kitchen and furniture industry. These organisations represent the core pillars of our ecosystem—skills, design, retail, materials and machinery—and their continued collaboration strengthens the conversations we host. Together, we’re building a platform that not only reflects where the industry is today but also helps shape where it is going.”

These collaborations strengthen IKC’s role as a national platform for knowledge exchange, skill development, manufacturing excellence, design innovation, and leadership in India’s fast-growing kitchen and furniture industry. They also ensure strong participation from each organisation’s members, who will attend IKC 2026 to engage in discussions, masterclasses, networking, and the India Kitchen Congress Awards.

Driving Knowledge Leadership Across Design, Retail, and Skills

Returning as Knowledge Partner, the Furniture & Fittings Skill Council (FFSC) will continue to anchor conversations on India’s talent pipeline for the woodworking, modular furniture, and kitchen installation trades. FFSC’s expertise in standards, training, and assessments ensures that IKC 2026 reflects current and emerging workforce needs across manufacturing, retail, and design.

The Association of Designers of India (ADI) brings design perspectives that shape modern kitchens, interiors, and customer experiences. With its network of educators and practitioners, ADI will help curate masterclasses and discussions around design excellence and innovation.

Joining them is the Retail Design Institute – India City Centre (RDI), which deepens IKC’s
emphasis on retail transformation. RDI brings global and local perspectives on store design, customer journeys, communication, and brand experience—key themes for today’s furniture and kitchen showrooms.

Strengthening Industry Participation in Woodworking, Panels, and Machinery

Among the Industry Partners, FIPPI continues its pivotal role in representing India’s plywood and panel manufacturers. Their involvement ensures IKC remains aligned with
material trends, sustainability initiatives, manufacturing challenges, and policy developments affecting the panel furniture industry.

The India Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers’ & Traders Association (IWMMTA) adds a crucial technological dimension. As woodworking units across India adopt automation, CNC systems, and advanced manufacturing solutions, IWMMTA’s perspectives on technology and industrial competitiveness will be central to IKC 2026.

Ensuring Broad Participation at India Kitchen Congress 2026

These renewed partnerships guarantee that IKC 2026 will see high-quality participation
from designers, manufacturers, panel producers, retailers, machinery players, educators, and students. Their presence strengthens IKC’s role as a collective platform for shared learning and industry-wide collaboration.

Reflecting on the importance of community participation, Gupta added, “What makes these partnerships truly impactful is the participation they bring from their member communities. When designers, manufacturers, retailers, educators and skill leaders join the discussions at India Kitchen Congress, the exchange becomes richer and the opportunities for collaboration grow. IKC 2026 will build on this shared momentum to help the industry learn faster, connect better, and move forward with greater purpose.”

With the ecosystem entering a phase of rapid innovation and expansion, the renewed partnerships with FFSC, ADI, RDI, FIPPI and IWMMTA position India Kitchen Congress
2026 to deliver its most comprehensive and future-ready edition yet.
