Fenestration BAU China (FBC) 2019, the leading Asian exhibition for the fenestration industry, will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center from 5-8 November. The event will showcase building system solutions, high-end technologies, innovative products, materials, and business cooperation models for the industry. Organised by Messe München and Messe Muenchen Shanghai Co, Ltd, the show will seek to promote technical innovation, application and development of industrial enterprises. “As a trade fair, we offer the ideal platform for the industry to share ideas, learn from each other and to develop solutions together,” says Cathy Peng, board chairman, Fenestration BAU China.
Around 100,000 visitors from 68 countries visited the 2018 edition of FBC. The major visitor countries besides China were India, Korea, and Vietnam. “FBC reflects the dynamic development of the Asian building market; 656 national and international companies exhibited at the show. Exhibition space grew to 51,034 sqm, an increase of 5%,” says Dr Reinhard Pfeiffer, deputy CEO, Messe München.
“FBC makes an important contribution to Asia’s construction industry by providing product innovations with a showcase for the Asian market, and by fostering professional discussions. In the process it helps advance the solutions that are designed to meet challenges faced by the industry, including scarcity of resources and energy efficiency,” adds Gunther Adler, state secretary in the German Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community.
With specific themes on sustainability, green building and energy-efficiency, the fair presents future-focused trends and solutions in Asia’s construction industry.
FBC 2019 will have a comprehensive display of building materials, door and window systems, hardware accessories besides green, intelligent, high-performance, safe and low-energy-consumption products. As a trading platform, FBC 2019 will attract door and window factories, project developers, trade associations, distribution agents, architectural designers and planners, engineering construction units, and real estate enterprises.
