Wall and floor tiles and sanitaryware maker Simpolo Vitrified has come up with its first Simpolo Exhibition Centre. Set up at Morbi with an investment of Rs 4 crore, the display centre covers an area of 30,000sft and features live mock-ups showing varied applications of vitrified tiles as well as Simpolo’s other products. “The Simpolo Exhibition Centre is the first of its kind for the company,” shared Anil Beejawat, CEO of the company. “The expanse of this centre is what makes it unique.”
Speaking about the company’s retail footprint, Beejawat said, “Simpolo has a policy of setting up Simpolo Galleries, shoppes, Simpolo Space, and upgrading dealer showrooms.” The company has eight company-owned galleries, 100 Simpolo Space outlets (shop-in-shop), and 25-30 gallery/shoppe projects under various stages of completion. For the last three years the company has been aggressive in its network expansion in north as well as east India, and with good success.
Beejawat further informed that Simpolo had launched Sintered Compact Surface (SCS) tiles that come in the size of 80x160cm and 120x120cm, at the Acetech Mumbai exhibition last November. “We are calling this product Smart Marble,” he said, adding that Simpolo is looking for dedicated channel partners for this product category.
“People dealing in imported marble have been expressing their interest in partnering with us for SCS. We are looking forward to appointing 60-70 channel partners for SCS. We are promoting this product at exhibitions and are participating at Stona Granite & Stone Fair in Bengaluru,” he remarked. ')}
