The Somany Temp Shield tile, a vitrified product launched recently by Somany Ceramics, is designed to make roofs, terraces, balconies and exterior facades repel excessive heat and keep the insides cooler and energy-efficient.
Owing to its high reflectance and emittance, the Temp Shield tile effectively combats Urban Heat Island Effect (UHIE) by reflecting sunlight and heat. This helps reduce both surface temperature and the inside room temperature.
The floor tile not only protects the building from damage due to high heat but also saves energy by reducing electricity consumption, resultantly reducing its carbon footprint. It is offered in 300×300 mm size, in white stone finish.
