Helix to Double Dealer Base in Two Years; Launches SS Screws

Eagle Sourcing Solutions, manufacturers of door & window hardware and furniture fittings under the Helix brand, is keen to double its dealer base in the next two years. “At present we have over 700 dealers across India, and in the next two years our target is to double the count,” shared Tarun Pahuja (pahuja.tarun@gmail.com), director of the company. Pahuja added that the company would focus on tier I and tier II cities across north and west India for expanding its channel partner network.

“As we expand our network, we are looking forward to channel partners in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, and other northern states,” he informed. This year itself the company will be offering approximately 400 dealerships. To appoint a dealer, the company will take into consideration goodwill of the potential dealer besides his/her market presence, brand association and financial soundness. The company will support the dealers in terms of in-shop as well as external branding, besides offering them various schemes, better margins, and incentive tours.

Further, the company, that started its operations in 2010, aims to double its count of distributors in the next two years. At present it has around 40 distributors. At a time when the focus of brand Helix seems to be on increasing its dealer base, it has not lost sight of the larger business avenue. “We are purely into channel sales. However, we are setting up a new team to cater to project sales. We see a great business potential in the government’s Housing for All scheme,” shared Pahuja.

The company is not only working on expanding its market presence, but at the same time it is equally focused on increasing its product portfolio. As a policy the company has pledged to continuously grow its product portfolio. “We are keen on offering our customers’ the best of products in terms of quality as well as price; we have built on the required resources and are coming up with new products every year,” said Pahuja. “Helix products are backed by well-equipped R&D facility and focus is to strengthen our design and engineering team. This will help us in offering products of unique designs and simple functionality that matches the imagination and lifestyle of young Indian customer,” he said. The focus on R&D led design will help the company in product differentiation.

Helix, he informed, has recently introduced full range of stainless steel self-tapping screws. Sharing more details on the product, he said, “These screws have perfectly punched head for strong hold. The bright appearance of screws is achieved by conveyorised nickel plating process; sharp tip and perfect gauge is maintained by using standardised lab tested materials of superior grades. They are packed in pouches of 100 pieces each.”Besides, the company is adding more muscle to its manufacturing capability. It has recently added yet another manufacturing unit thereby taking the count to four. “We are investing heavily to scale up our manufacturing facility and warehouse to meet growing demand,” averred Pahuja.

Being a part of the organised market set up, Pahuja is confident that GST will prove to be beneficial in the long run. “The market will gradually realise the benefits and I see no reason as to why the current impasse, by a few, will last more than a quarter or so,” he said. To exemplify his statement, Pahuja cited that the efficiency in the supply chain will increase by approximately 20% due to unlocking of checkposts. “The competition in our business segment will even out; the unorganised players will either have to shape up or shakeout.” ')}
