Narsi Kularia is a first generation carpenter-turned-entrepreneur. He is an evangelist of skill development, having made the woodworking trade aspirational through personal achievements and organisational growth.
He is involved in the design and development of iconic projects such as the Central Vista, new Parliament, and Pragati Maidan Convention Centre.
He says, “These creations are at par with any other in the world. It, therefore, behoves us to get our woodworkers and carpenters the best skilling infrastructure and opportunities, if we have to achieve the objective of becoming the skill capital of the world.”
Narsi is chairman of Furniture & Fittings Skill Council, and managing director of Narsi & Associates.
