Vinod Jain is the visionary who glamourised steel products and home accessories globally. In the early 2000s, he had taken the Magppie brand overseas, and by 2003 he was working with some of the world’s most acclaimed designers including Phillippe Starck and Karim Rashid.
In 2006 he set up a European-class factory that would manufacture kitchens for the most discerning of Indian clients. And during the decade Magppie won the prestigious Red Dot Award three years in a row.
He says he is a social entrepreneur who believes in people, planet and profit. His not-for-profit venture Satvic Movement is the world’s largest natural health education platform with 5 million followers and 70,000 patients.
