Japanese water and housing products company LIXIL has identified consumers’ preference for hygiene, wellbeing and sustainability as the mega trend that will drive property improvement initiatives the world over.
In this 7-minute video conversation, LIXIL APAC leader Satoshi Konagai explains why hygiene and wellbeing have emerged as the primary concern of property occupants globally in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic. “Hygiene, wellbeing, sustainability is driving growth at LIXIL,” he says.
He also talks about the Grohe Retrofit Campaign, and how it has been designed to bring sustainability to consumer efforts towards home improvement.
LIXIL has a large and growing presence in India through its ceramic manufacturing facility at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, which is being developed as a hub for entire APAC region. The company manufactures products for its Grohe, American Standard and Inax brands at this hub.
This conversation with Konagai on hygiene, wellbeing, sustainability also reveals that LIXIL is on its way to becoming a net-zero manufacturing company by 2050.
