India Kitchen Congress Awards have Opened for Nominations

In their 11th edition, the India Kitchen Congress Awards have opened for nominations. These are the most coveted recognition within the modular kitchen and cabinetry industry.

The scope of the India Kitchen Congress Awards 2025 has widened significantly, with 18 awards in 6 categories. The awards process has also become more professional, transparent, and challenging.

What’s more, 2 winners will be announced in each category – Gold and Silver. The winners will be announced at the forthcoming India Kitchen Congress in Bengaluru.

This year’s new award categories relate to Marketing Communication, Green Manufacturing, and Tech Enablement, while the earlier categories of Retail Design, Skill Development, and Kitchen Design continue. Together, these awards will celebrate the best of the best from 2024.

In the new format, a single project can compete in several categories, and nominees can submit multiple entries. Entries have to be submitted online.

This time the Awards encourage collaborating teams to participate, so that the honours are shared amongst the professionals who have contributed to the project’s success. The project owner gets the trophy while the other contributors receive a digital certificate. Of course, there is a strict caveat – disqualification if plagiarism is discovered.

The judging process has gone entirely online. There will be two rounds of judging based on well-defined and unique criteria for each category. The Jury comprises accomplished professionals from cross-functional domains, such as business management, interior design, marketing & communication, visual merchandising, F&B service, skilling, and manufacturing. The Jury’s decision will be final.

Participants beware; the submissions will have to be impeccable, as the judges will assess the quality of visuals, clarity of vision, and detailing in documentation.

A nominal fee of Rs 4,130 per entry has been applied, to ensure that only serious and competent participants enter the fray.

The last date for submitting nominations for India Kitchen Congress Awards is 15 January 2025.
