The 6th International Distributors Exhibition in Mongolia will be held from 8-11 November at Misheel Expo, Ulaanbaatar. Multi-sector in nature, the event will provide a platform to exporters who are interested in introducing their products in the market of Mongolia. Both domestic and foreign entities will be promoting their products at the event. PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI) in close association with Embassy of India in Mongolia and with the support of Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, aims to participate in the exhibition.
The volume of India-Mongolia trade has been growing at a faster pace since the last decade. Being a landlocked country, Mongolia relies heavily on foreign trade and investment. China and Russia account for a majority of its trade and investment. At present, the import basket of Mongolia consists of mining machinery and equipment, building materials, industrial goods, fuel, cars, food products, chemicals, sugar and tea. Its exports consist of coal, copper, fluorspar, other nonferrous metals, apparel, wool, and some other products.
