Rahul Thakkar is General Manager at Panasonic Homes & Living for SAARC Countries.
He is a social figure, philanthropist, and thought leader. His education includes an MBA in Export and Marketing with a specialised certification from MICA in Advertising & Marketing. Over the past 25 years, he has worked with several renowned brands such as Kajaria, Finolex, Pidilite, and Hettich, before joining Panasonic.
He has spearheaded Panasonic’s Homes & Living division, growing it exponentially by building teams that thrive through inclusivity, acceptance, and constant learning.
As a part of his efforts to give back to the community, he has been building schools for girls in tribal areas and contributing to several educational initiatives. He has worked for various social causes such as child education, medical aid, and women empowerment. He is also Chairman of the Indigenous Arts Association, an organisation that works towards preserving ancient arts and empowering artists across India.
