Jamnagar-based Senor Metals is keen to expand its presence in new markets. To this end the Company, manufacturer of brass and stainless steel building hardware products, has adopted a dual strategy – on one hand, it will open company-owned display centres, and on the other, it will sign up business associates (channel partners). “We are confident of meeting our target of 15 display centres in different states this year,” shared Jatin Ashar (jatin@senormetals.in), CEO of the company. He added that the first display centre will come up in Ahmedabad, while talks are on for other locations.
Ashar explains that a potential associate needs to have an area of around 500 sft and put in an investment of Rs 10 lakh for a Senor display centre. “Location will be a prime consideration,” said Ashar, besides adding that those from the trade with strong market goodwill and interested to partner with a quality brand will be given preference. “We choose our channel partners very carefully,” he said, adding that the company will offer complete support with handsome returns.

Besides expanding retail presence, Senor Metals will continue to strengthen its product portfolio too. “We have a wide range of products available in attractive finishes, and at the same time we are developing many new products,” said Ashar. He is of the view that there exists a strong demand for quality products in India. “Senor is one of the very few companies that have complete in-house metal testing laboratories which are NABL accredited,” he said speaking on the technical prowess of Senor.
