New Delhi-based Deepika International, the owner of Taptree bathroom fittings, is vying for dealers and distributors in Rajasthan and West Bengal. It is also planning to unveil diverters and faucets in budget range for these markets. The company has a small scale unit in the city’s Mangolpuri Industrial Area where it manufactures faucets, accessories, sanitaryware, and shower systems.
“We exclusively export as our unit is export-oriented. Now we would also like to expand in Rajasthan and West Bengal. Being a small scale manufacturing unit, our main priority is to focus on these two states with quality and affordable bath fittings to gain a competitive edge. We want to appoint dealers and distributors in every major city,” the company’s proprietor Vikash Gupta (vikashtaptree@gmail.com) told SH via WhatsApp. “We would like to introduce budget ranges of diverters and faucets for the market.” He added that the company also engages in training plumbers by organising plumbers meets.
Averring that Taptree stands for design and quality, he said, “Quality assurance, product reliability and testing are an integral part of the manufacturing process of Taptree products. Total in-house production capability gives us confidence in terms of reduced production lead time, stringent quality control and smoother execution of demand. Access to state-of-the-art technology should not be a luxury of the minority, rather the right of the majority. Delivering this right to every customer is our greatest challenge and our biggest reward.”
