The 9th India Kitchen Congress Awards recognised the persons and organisations that are shaping the Indian modular kitchen industry with their creativity, excellence, and service mindset.
Some 200 men and women of the modular kitchen industry were applauding when the names of winners of the 9th India Kitchen Congress Awards were announced on April 6 in New Delhi. For many of the winners, it was a once-in-a-lifetime moment, as they were recognised before their peers, partners and colleagues for creativity, excellence, and service to the industry.
The Awards were given out by Andre Eckholt, managing director of Hettich India and Deepak Gupta, managing editor of Sourcing Hardware.
And the winners are…
Skill Catalyst Award – Individual: Bharat Pathak
This award recognises individuals who have contributed to the development of the skill ecosystem for the Interiors, Furniture & Allied industry.
Skill Catalyst Award – Corporate: Omega Innovative Industries ( HYFURN), Perumbavoor, Kerala
This award recognises corporates (enterprises/companies/organisations) that have contributed to the development of the skill ecosystem for the Interiors, Furniture & Allied industry.
Business Innovation Award: Prolance
This award recognises the innovation (process, technology, business model or idea) that has enabled the kitchen and cabinetry business to become efficient, competitive, and responsive to customer expectations.
Kitchen Retailer Award Standalone – Small: Dona Modular Systems, Mumbai
This award recognises superlative customer experience in a kitchen environment provided by a standalone retailer (who is not part of a chain of three or more stores having the same brand name) of kitchens, and whose store size is up to 1,000 sft in total area
Kitchen Retailer Award Standalone – Large: Elemmentz – Limitless Living, Hyderabad
This award recognises superlative customer experience in a kitchen environment provided by a standalone retailer (who is not part of a chain of three or more stores having the same brand name) of kitchens, and whose store size is more than 1,000 sft in total area.
Kitchen Retailer Award Multiple Outlets – Small: Arancia Kuchen, Surat
This award recognises superlative customer experience in a kitchen environment provided by a multiple-outlet retailer (who has a chain of three or more stores having the same brand name) of kitchens, and whose store size is up to 1,000 sft in total area.
Kitchen Retailer Award Multiple Outlets – Large: Würfel Küche, Bengaluru
This award recognises superlative customer experience in a kitchen environment provided by a multiple-outlet retailer (who has a chain of three or more stores having the same brand name) of kitchens, and whose store size is more than 1,000 sft in total area.
Kitchen Designer Award – Completed: Jyoti Arya, Livspace
This award recognises the creativity and functionality of a completed kitchen.
Kitchen Designer Award – Concept: Ar Vinti Gupta, Furnish Your Dream Interiors
This award recognises the creativity and functionality of a kitchen concept.
Kitchen Professional Award: Neetii Maacker
This award recognises professionals (employers/employees) who have spent a significant part of their career in residential kitchen-related industries, who have contributed to the growth of their organisations in leadership roles, and who have made an impact on the kitchen industry through their knowledge and skills.
Jury
The India Kitchen Congress Awards are declared after the entries are assessed against pre-set criteria by an eminent jury, that comprises leaders and subject matter experts.
The Jury for the 2023 Awards comprised Alok Agrawal, founder, The Growth Labs; Gopal Dwivedi, AVP-Product Development-Global, Livspace; Rahul Mehta, CEO, Furniture & Fittings Skill Council; and Surender Gnanaolivu, chief-strategy and design, 4Dimensions Retail Design.
