After foraying into the flooring segment in 2018, Welspun Flooring Ltd, fully integrated and independent flooring vertical of $2.7 billion Welspun Group, has inaugurated its manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana, in a bid to intensify its focus on diverse “innovative” products.
Set up with an investment of Rs 1,100 crore, the facility is spread across 200 acres, employs around 1600 members and has implemented strict safety and hygiene measures. Equipped with some of the “finest” machinery, it creates unique colour options, combinations and caters to any kind of shade requirement, the company said.
The plant is equipped to manufacture a wide variety of products ranging from carpet tiles, greens (artificial grass) and broadloom carpets (wall-to-wall carpet) to the patented and “technologically advanced” product – the Click-N-Lock tiles. Post completion of all phases, the facility will have a production capacity of 40 million sqm annually, it added.

Our retail brands like Welspun & Spaces has gained high consumer acceptance and continues to drive our growth in the evolving domestic market. We are now entering another exciting phase of our growth with a foray into the flooring segment.
