Global kitchen and bath products major Kohler has announced the launch of its technology centre in India. Located at Kohler’s state-of-the-art plant in Jhagadia, Gujarat, the centre will display latest product designs and also present to stakeholders the manufacturing processes that Kohler takes pride in. The company has invested more than $200 million in India so far.
The tech centre was inaugurated recently by Larry Yuen, group president–kitchen & bath and Salil Sadanandan, president- South Asia, Middle East & SSA at Kohler Co. According to the company, the tech centre has been designed in such a way that it shares Kohler’s rich legacy of innovation and design with customers, business associates and new employees being inducted. The centre also has a mockup zone to showcase Kohler product’s superior functional performance.
Commenting on this launch of the centre, Sadanandan said, “Kohler has always been at the leading edge of design and innovation in the bath and sanitaryware industry. This new tech centre allows us to display some of our iconic product ranges manufactured here in India.” He added that the centre also showcases manufacturing processes and the stringent testing procedures that each product manufactured in the India plant undergoes.
