Duravit has collaborated with Studio F. A. Porsche to launch Collection One, a new bathroom series built around clean, minimalist forms inspired by water-smoothed stones. The collection extends a consistent design language across washbasins and vanity units, sanitaryware, bathtubs, mirrors and storage solutions.
Designed by Studio F. A. Porsche, Collection One combines gently rounded forms with functional detailing across different elements of the bathroom. The range offers multiple configurations, allowing the design language to be carried across individual products or a complete bathroom setting.
Water-Smoothed Forms Define the Collection
The central design idea behind the Duravit Collection One draws from the organic forms of stones shaped and smoothed by water.
This is particularly visible in the washbasins, which feature large interior basins, gently rounded edges and narrow rims. The rectangular forms are available across semi-recessed sinks, hand sinks and vanity units, with generous countertop surfaces incorporated into the designs.
The range also includes a built-in sink characterised by arched sides, paired with a matching console base cabinet to create a visually integrated unit.
A distinctive element of the collection is the countertop basin without a faucet rim. It is offered in both a straight-sided version and an alternative with strongly curved sides, providing different interpretations of the collection’s organic design language.
Wall-mounted basins can also be combined with vanity cabinets, including as a retrofit, expanding the configuration possibilities within the range.
Sanitaryware Extends the Design Language
The Duravit Collection One includes toilets and matching bidets designed to continue the same visual language across the bathroom.
The toilets feature Duravit’s Rimless® technology, concealed fixings and soft-close seats. These elements are intended to combine ease of maintenance with a clean appearance and everyday functionality.
Bathtubs Add a Wellness Element
The bathtub range is available in built-in, pre-wall, freestanding and whirlpool configurations.
Ergonomic detailing includes integrated lumbar support, while DuroCast® Plus is used to provide a velvety matte surface finish. The different installation formats allow the bathtub element of Collection One to be incorporated into a range of bathroom layouts while
maintaining the broader design identity of the series.
Mirrors and Storage Complete the Range
Mirrors and mirror cabinets complete the Duravit Collection One portfolio. Features include touch-free sensor controls, integrated lighting, open shelving and concealed storage.
The collection can also be paired with Duravit’s contemporary faucet ranges, enabling the different bathroom elements to be brought together within a consistent overall scheme.
A Complete Bathroom Collection
With Collection One, Duravit and Studio F. A. Porsche have developed the collaboration as a complete bathroom series rather than an individual product launch. The common design language extends from basins and furniture to sanitaryware, bathtubs, mirrors and storage.
