Mumbai-based stone flooring supplier Classic Marble Company (CMC) has recently bagged an order from Maruti Suzuki for remodelling its 150 showrooms across India using its Kalinga Stone flooring products. This includes existing showrooms in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Patna, Ranchi, Udaipur, Jammu, Vapi, Bhopal and Surat.
Commenting on the development, CMC managing director Amit Shah said, “Maruti Suzuki needed its showrooms to maintain continuity in character, as is with their automobiles. While the look, finish and overall appeal needed to be consistent across all the sites, it also needed to be durable, low-maintenance, stain and scratch resistant, and having a long lifespan. Kalinga Stone marble, with its physical properties meeting all the requirements of strength and durability, and best of all to be able to provide a choice in colours, designs and patterns, was chosen as the most suitable material for the project.”
CMC has supplied over 1.5 lakh sft of Bianco Thassos, the rich marble stone, for over 75 Maruti showrooms in cities that include Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Chennai among others. It is expecting to supply over 1.5 lakh sft of the marble by the end of this calendar year.
Shah added, “White coloured Bianco Thassos with a glossy white surface renders a gorgeous look to the overall space, with the floor complimenting the elegant and stylish vehicles displayed at the showrooms. The milky white stone complements the company’s décor requirements perfectly.” ')}
