Hindware Expands its Presence in South India, Opens Two Premier Brand Stores in Bengaluru

Sanitaryware and bath fittings major Hindware Limited has launched two premier brand stores in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Through the retail expansion, the company aims to bring its various brands closer to customers in the southern market. As Hindware expands its presence in south India, it now has exclusive branded 24 outlets in Bengaluru and 50 in Karnataka. 

The Hindware Premiere stores have been opened along with channel partners Katta Ceramics in Sudhama Nagar, and Daksha Distributors in Srinivaspura, spread over 5,000 sft and 2,000 sft respectively. Both stores will showcase a diverse range of Hindware bathware and tile products from brands such as Hindware Italian Collection, Hindware Italian Tiles, and super-premium brand Queo, catering to both homeowners and design professionals. 

According to Sudhanshu Pokhriyal, CEO Bath and Tiles Business, Hindware Limited, “Bengaluru city is known for its design appreciation and forward-thinking approach. We are excited to inaugurate our premier bathware and tiles stores in Bengaluru, marking a significant stride in our journey of expansion in the South India region. This strategic move reaffirms our commitment to bringing the best of innovation, design, and quality in the bathroom and tiles segment closer to our customers.” 

Hindware has been focussing on providing an immersive brand experience to customers through the steady expansion of its retail footprint across India. Pokhriyal says that Hindware stores enable visitors to explore cutting-edge designs, experience interactive displays, and receive personalised assistance from the brand’s expert teams. “Our stores underscore Hindware’s customer-centric strategy of bringing the brand in close proximity to our customers.” 

Emphasising the significance of the location of new stores, Shashvat Somany, head of strategy at holding company Somany Impresa Group says, “Bengaluru is an important market for us, and we see immense potential in this region. These two stores are our commitment to the customers of this market, and we are set to introduce them to an unparalleled living and bathroom experience. We will continue to invest in the market to cater to the rising demands of our customers.”

Somany highlights that Hindware’s expansive distribution and service network comprises 470+ immersive brand stores, over 34,000 active retail touchpoints, and a clientele of over 1,200 institutions. “Our channel is supported by a service network of 650+ technicians located in India’s 700+ districts. This is to ensure responsive assistance with a rapid TAT of 24 hours in metro areas and 48 hours in upcountry regions.” Hindware achieved a turnover of Rs 2,248 crore during 2022-23.
