R P Locks Company, the owner of Harrison locks and hardware brand, has taken legal action against sellers of duplicate Harrison Plus electronic locks. The New Delhi-based company has filed a legal suit against the sellers of Harrison Plus in the Tis Hazari Court at Delhi for restraining them from manufacturing, advertising, selling, importing, exporting or dealing in any other manner in relation to trade and business of locks, electronic locks under Harrison Plus brand, the company said in a press statement.
The court has accepted the complaint of R P Locks Company and appointed two local commissioners to seize duplicate Harrison Plus locks, account books, cash book, trading account, laptop data, bill books, and invoice records.
“The local commissioners with the help of local police have seized the duplicate locks, bill books, laptop data, etc. We are very protective of our intellectual property/trademarks and will not spare any infringer, seller of fake products. We will take strong legal action: both civil and criminal action against sellers of duplicate products bearing our well-known trademark Harrison.”
