In what could be seen as a stepping stone to sign up over two lakh dealers in the next few years, Delhi-based RP Locks has recently organised its maiden ‘Manthan’ Meet’ in Patna, Bihar. R P Locks is the owner of locks and security solutions brand Harrison.
“We aim to get closer to the masses in urban and rural areas by appointing new distributors and expanding our dealer network from existing 1lakh-plus to over 2 lakh dealers in the next five years. For this purpose we brought together Harrison distributors of Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal, Assam and other North-Eastern states, as they would form the core of our national programme,” said the company’s managing director Umang Monga. “The eastern region is a high potential area for the housing sector. Therefore, we have concentrated on the region.”
Monga informed that a direct helpline +91 9310142407 has been set up exclusively for swift response to new distributorship inquiries, while all India toll-free number 1800 153 5795 is operational for other enquiries.
He added that the company would soon launch Harrison Suvidha app to offer guidance and need-based solutions to potential buyers. “We have covered a large segment of products that every end-user building a house, office or shop may require, or a professional or bulk buyer constructing malls, office complex or residential complex may require. Although Harrison is already providing technical support to the buyers of all Harrison products, the soon-to-be-launched app will minimise the hassle and search from one shop to another for the search of multi-products.”
Beginning with the padlock range, the company has expanded into locks, door hardware, furniture hardware, door control, kitchen baskets & Velv ‘E’ tandem drawers, and screw & fasteners categories. “Today we have over 1,000 products in these categories,” Monga averred.
