Koemmerling Navi Mumbai Experience Centre opens, strengthening its western India presence and launching the Allure S46 minimal sliding door system.
Koemmerling, the uPVC and aluminium window and door systems brand of Germany-headquartered profine Group, has opened a new Experience Centre in Navi Mumbai, strengthening its presence in the Mumbai metropolitan region.
Located at CBD Belapur, the Koemmerling Navi Mumbai Experience Centre was inaugurated by Dr Peter Mrosik, owner and CEO of profine Group; Farid Khan, CMD, profine India; and Kamal Bajaj, CEO, profine India. The opening was attended by architects, developers, industry partners and members of the fenestration industry.
The centre is intended to give architects, developers and homeowners an opportunity to experience Koemmerling’s uPVC and aluminium window and door systems in installed formats. It also represents a deeper push into western India as demand grows for premium fenestration systems offering larger openings, slimmer profiles and improved performance.
Describing India as “one of the most dynamic and vital markets for our global growth,” Mrosik said profine’s continued investments in infrastructure and R&D reflect its commitment to bringing advanced fenestration solutions closer to Indian customers. “This new Experience Centre in Navi Mumbai and our latest product innovations are a testament to our vision of shaping the future of modern living spaces with German engineering excellence and sustainability at the core,” he said.
A key highlight of the opening was the India launch of Allure S46, Koemmerling’s new non-thermal aluminium minimal sliding door system. According to the company, the product has been engineered specifically for the Indian market and addresses growing demand for expansive glazing and visually seamless indoor-outdoor spaces.
The system uses profiles that can be concealed within the wall, floor and ceiling, reducing the visual presence of the frame. Its 20-mm interlock sightline is designed to maximise transparency, while individual panels can measure up to 2 metres by 3 metres. Allure S46 supports glass thicknesses between 28 mm and 34 mm and is engineered to withstand wind pressures of up to 3 kPa. Two-track and three-track configurations are available.
Khan linked the product introduction with changing requirements in the premium building segment. “As the demand for premium, high- performance architectural systems accelerates, we are proud to offer architects, developers, and homeowners an immersive touchpoint to experience our innovations firsthand,” he said, adding that the new minimal sliding door combines minimalist aesthetics with structural strength.
For Koemmerling, the Experience Centre is therefore more than a product display. It provides a physical specification and engagement point for professionals working on projects where fenestration is increasingly becoming an important part of the architectural proposition.
“The Koemmerling Navi Mumbai Experience Centre in Navi Mumbai brings us closer to our valued customers in the western region,” said Bajaj. He added that showcasing the company’s wider portfolio alongside new products would enable Koemmerling to support evolving architectural requirements in India.
Headquartered in Pirmasens, Germany, profine Group manufactures uPVC and aluminium window and door systems, façade systems, shutter systems and PVC sheets. Koemmerling is one of the group’s principal brands.
