Nemetschek CADD Centre Partnership – In a major step towards accelerating digital transformation in India’s construction and design industry, global AEC software leader Nemetschek Group has partnered with CADD Centre Group, one of the country’s largest skill-development enterprises, to advance Building Information Modelling (BIM) education and workforce readiness.
The Nemetschek CADD Centre partnership, formalised through an Authorized Training Centre (ATC) and Corporate Training Partner agreement recently signed at CADD Centre’s
headquarters in Chennai, marks the start of a long-term collaboration to make world-class
BIM training accessible to engineers, architects, and project managers nationwide.
BIM Learning Hubs in Chennai and Bengaluru
The initiative will roll out with flagship Nemetschek Authorised Training Centres in Chennai
and Bengaluru, which will offer comprehensive BIM programs based on Archicad, Bluebeam, and Solibri—the core platforms of Nemetschek’s open-BIM ecosystem. These
programs will help professionals and students gain hands-on expertise in digital design,
collaboration, and sustainability-focused project workflows.
CADD Centre, which operates over 300 training locations across India and abroad, plans to
extend Nemetschek-powered BIM training to 15 more centres next year. The partnership
also includes a focus on corporate upskilling, enabling enterprises in the architecture,
engineering, and construction (AEC) domain to equip their teams with advanced digital
competencies.
“Our partnership with CADD Centre is driven by a shared vision for upskilling professionals
with world-class BIM capabilities,” said Pete Nicholson, senior vice president – Key
Accounts & High Growth Regions, Nemetschek Group. “Expanding into multiple key cities
will foster a culture of excellence in project planning, sustainability, and workflow
optimisation.”
Creating a Pipeline of Job-Ready BIM Engineers
Through this collaboration, CADD Centre will work closely with Nemetschek India and its
enterprise clients to build a talent pipeline of job-ready BIM engineers. This will be achieved through structured learning programs, certification pathways, and project-based training that align with the evolving needs of the AEC sector.
“CADD Centre’s leadership and outreach will be pivotal in fulfilling Nemetschek India’s goal
of scaling BIM training for future-ready professionals,” noted Sanjay Kumar Singh,
managing director, Nemetschek India. “We look forward to building impactful learning
journeys for thousands of engineers and architects.”
Aligning with India’s Digital Construction Vision
The Nemetschek CADD Centre partnership reflects the growing momentum around digital
construction and sustainability in India’s infrastructure and real-estate sectors. BIM
adoption—still nascent compared to mature markets—is gaining traction as projects
increasingly rely on data integration, simulation, and digital twins for cost and energy
efficiency.
Founded by Prof Georg Nemetschek in 1963, the Nemetschek Group has been at the
forefront of this transformation. The German software pioneer serves more than 7 million
users worldwide, offering tools that span the entire building lifecycle—from design to
operations—and champion open standards for interoperability.
CADD Centre, founded in 1988, has meanwhile emerged as a powerhouse for technology
training, having trained over 3 million professionals working in 5,500+ companies globally.
Through its network of brands—CADD Centre, Livewire, Dreamzone, Synergy, and
CloudKampus—it builds competence in AI-powered engineering design, product
development, project management, and interior design.
“Our vision is to make India the Design and Innovation Capital of the World,” said R
Parthasarathy, chairman, CADD Centre Group. “This partnership with Nemetschek will
accelerate proficiency and innovation in design and construction workflows, ensuring that
Indian professionals remain globally competitive.”
A New Chapter in AEC Skill Development
The Nemetschek CADD Centre partnership marks a milestone for India’s AEC
ecosystem—linking global digital-construction expertise with the country’s largest
technical-training network. As both organisations work to scale up BIM education through
2026, the initiative is expected to catalyse a new generation of digitally empowered
engineers and designers, driving efficiency, innovation, and sustainability in India’s built
environment.
