While participating in Indian Plumbing Conference (IPC) 2016 in Jaipur, Grundfos India reinforced the need for intelligent plumbing practices for commercial buildings. Themed ‘Water conservation through good plumbing practices’, the conference reiterated the increasing need for sustainable solutions.
Commenting on the occasion, Gangaprasad G, Grundfos’ vice president-sales (buildings) said, “There is a growing need for water and energy conservation to meet the predicted scarcity of these key resources. An essential aspect to improve efficiency and minimise costs is to adopt intelligent pump solutions.”
Gangaprasad informed that Grundfos India had a wide range of intelligent and efficient pump solutions to help reduce the excess water consumption and energy usage in every application in buildings. “Grundfos has a holistic system approach with components that adapt to requirements in areas like wastewater, water boosting, heating system, chilled water system and fire safety.”
Grundfos exhibited its SE and SL pumps, high wastewater pumping solutions that come with smart trim technology and are designed for handling wastewater, process water and sewage in heavy-duty municipal, commercial, industrial and domestic applications. “These wastewater pumps offer the best total, wire-to-water efficiency and are available with efficient S tube channel. With the S tube impeller, the pump efficiencies can go up to 83.4%,” informed Gangaprasad. ')}
