Rajkot-based Italik Metalware, manufacturers of architectural hardware and furniture fittings, will be focusing on the domestic market to boost its growth further. “Our main focus will be the domestic market; there is a lot of untapped market with huge business potential for us,” said Haresh Lakhwani, director of the company. The company, on its part, is all geared up to tap into this potential. “At present, our manufacturing capacity is one million units per month,” informed Lakhwani, adding that expansion of the new factory is already underway.
“To cater to our customer base across India, we have a sizeable number of retail partners,” he said, adding that the count is over 500. At present, the company is single-mindedly working on strengthening its existing base of retail partners rather than on adding more to the list. āWe would like to consolidate our presence in markets where we already have retail partners; once we are in a commanding position in these markets we will plan to expand our base in new markets,ā remarked Lakhwani.
Sharing more on Italik Metalwareās product offerings, he said, āWe manufacture and export world-class architectural hardware and furniture fittings from high-grade steel AISI316, also available in various finishes.ā He added that the range of furniture fittings includes handles and knobs for doors and windows, handles for cabinets and kitchens, glass and wooden door handles, mortise handles, etc.
āWe continuously introduce new designs and new products, which is a result of continuous R&D underway in-house,ā he averred, adding that the company has highly skilled technical staff. āAll Italica products are elegantly designed, having electroplating finish such as nickel, chrome and SS. These products are manufactured under international quality standards, as the company is ISOā9001-2000 certified.ā
