Fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG) major Havells has introduced its latest range of air purifiers, Freshia. According to the company, Freshia is equipped with an “innovative” nine-stage filtration process to eliminate airborne pollutants as small as 0.3 microns and capture pollutants up to 99.99%.

Negi informs that in addition to standard pre-filter, anti-bacterial, anion producer, cold catalyst, and HEPA, the product has humidifier, activated carbon, sterilising UV light, and anti-bacterial balls to absorb toxic elements and infuse the air with essential nutrients. “These filters ensure that dust particles along with airborne micro-bacterial germs are eliminated. Apart from that, it adjusts to the room temperature and prevents dryness of the skin purifying the air in the room, preventing harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde.”
The product range is priced between Rs 14,490 and Rs 43,290. It sports built-in dust sensor, front cover open protection, LED air purity indicator, and ioniser. “With acute efficiency and powerful air-purification system, the range offers CADR up to 500 m3/hr,” he adds.
