Furniture & Fittings Skill Council (FFSC) is the apex body for development of a skilling infrastructure for the furniture and allied sectors in India. It is a not-for-profit organisation, registered under societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. The Council has been promoted by CII with financial support from the NSDC, under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
FFSC’s vision is to become a unified platform for all skilled manpower solutions for Interiors, Furniture and Allied industry across the globe.
Its mission is to create aspirational value for career opportunities in the Interiors, Furniture and Allied industries, and sustainably generate skilled task force by building a robust skilling ecosystem to make India competitive.
FFSC aims to skill, re-skill and up-skill 5,00,000 aspirants as part of its Mission 2025.
By 2025-26, FFSC aims to map the industry’s existing workforce and build a robust skilling mechanism to aspire and train fresh entrants for Apprenticeship, Jobs and Entrepreneurship opportunities.
To achieve this, FFSC is creating Furniture Regional Skill Chapters (FRSC) in various parts of the country, which have multi-level Skill Academies supported by the state–of–art FFSC Skill Pavilion.
FFSC is the Knowledge Partner at India Kitchen Congress 2024.
