Sandeep Kumar is the founder and CEO of Voxomos Systems.
Voxomos specialises in applications of speech, text, music and image processing. It is one of the pioneers in India in Conversational Multimodal AI which is in vogue today. Sandeep brings with him more than 30 years of unique industry experience in Machine Learning, Deep Neural Nets, Statistical Signal Processing Algorithms, DSP Tools, Dataflow Modelling, Software and Hardware Design.
Previously he has worked as consultant architect at Synopsys (Nasdaq: SNPS) and Cadence Design Systems (Nasdaq: CDNS) in Electronic System Design Automation, and is a leading Machine Learning and Signal Processing researcher in the industry. His core expertise is in applications of mathematics to solve real-life problems.
Sandeep is a Machine Learning/AI evangelist with focus on its applications. He is invited as an external guide for M Tech thesis evaluation at IIT-Delhi. He also gives guest lectures at IIT-Delhi on applications of Speech and Image Processing to the students. Under his guidance Voxomos works with the AssisTech (http://assistech.iitd.ernet.in/ ) lab at the CS Dept, IIT-Delhi, helping develop technologies for the visually impaired.
Sandeep received his B Tech and M Tech in Electrical Engineering (EE) from IIT Kanpur in 1989 and 1991 respectively, specialising in Communications and Signal Processing. As part of his M Tech Thesis, he worked on non-linear models for Signal Representation and made contributions to Information Theory.
