Handles and lock maker Duke Locks, a company based in Aligarh, will be launching a new range of products by the end of the year. The company will be participating in trade shows and will present the new products before visiting dealers and distributors. The company also has plans to appoint new trade partners in various states.
According to managing director Ashu Sharma (firstname.lastname@example.org), Duke Locks is working on plans to expand its channel network in many states including Gujarat. “We are keen to add business partners in Surat, Rajkot and Ahmedabad.” Besides Gujarat, the other focus states will be Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Uttar Pradesh is a big market for the company, and Sharma informed that his team was already in talks with interested partners. “Our aim is to build long-term business partnerships with our trade partners,” he remarked.
“At present, we have over 30 channel partners – distributors and dealers – and we intend to add 10 to 15 new channel partners by the end of this fiscal,” Sharma informed.
Duke is looking for enthusiastic partners who can promote the brand in their respective markets. “Apart from goodwill and financial strength, out partners should have the capability to help us promote our brand,” he averred. On other requirements, he shared that payment for the first order placed must be upfront, and thereafter suitable credit terms can be worked out. “We provide trade discounts that are at a par with industry standards.”
