Opting for the franchisee model to expand its market base in the built-in kitchen appliances segment, Gamle Appliances has opened its first 800 sft exclusive store ‘Game World’ in Faridabad, NCR. Through this franchise outlet Gamle will showcase its full range comprising of kitchen chimneys, cooktops and hobs.
Announcing the launch, Gamle Appliances managing director and CEO Sanjeev Dayal said, “Opening our first store in Faridabad is a moment of great joy for us. The overwhelming response we got from our customers inspired us to take the next step and give a personalised experience of shopping.” He added that customer experience was the most important element for Gamle and the company was constantly aiming at improving upon the experience of its customers. “We are giving them a first-hand opportunity to view and have a look and feel of the product before making a purchasing decision,” he said. He further shared that this festive season, Gamle is offering an assortment of high quality products to delight the customers with both price and product.
Besides being able to choose from the portfolio of designer kitchen chimneys, cooktops and hobs, etc, customers can avail services of experts in the store to help them guide on products, size, suitability, et al. The company feels that this educative drive will help customers choose the right product.
Sharing further expansion plans, Dayal said, “We aim to further strengthen our customer connect and are planning to increase our footprints across India in coming years. We plan to run 20 fully operational stores in various states by 2018. These stores will come up in metropolitan cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Indore, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata. This will add to our present network of multi-brand dealers.” The company is looking at a capital expenditure of Rs 1 crore to achieve this goal.
