Goodmen Sets its Eye on Global Markets

New Delhi-based Goodmen Industries is keen to strengthen and expand its presence in Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa. The company markets toilet tank fittings under the Orange brand.

“As a company, we have always been keen to supply to global market. While we have a sizeable customer base in Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa, our effort is to strengthen our presence in these markets. We are equally keen to expand our base and are looking at Central Europe, America, etc, as new markets,” informs Shiv Abhinav (main@goodmeninternational.com), managing director of the company.

As far as India is concerned, Abhinav says, “We are primarily an OEM supplier to sanitaryware majors across India. However, we have sizeable retail presence too, and we want to increase our footprint. Our market presence in north India is very strong, but when it comes to south we are relatively less visible. This year we have planned to focus our retail expansion on the southern markets.” The company has over 200 dealers in India.  Abhinav states, that Orange by virtue of its quality will emerge as a key player. The uniqueness of Orange toilet fittings, he says, is that they work well in hard water.

The company is expanding its portfolio to eventually become a one-stop-solution provider. “As of now we provide to our customers, who are majors in the sanitaryware industry across India, one-piece and two-piece toilet fittings under the Orange brand. We have a production facility at Morbi in Gujarat for these fittings where we manufacture over 50,000 pieces a month. Recently we have set up a state-of-the-art seat cover unit also,” informs Abhinav.  “We have invested over Rs 2 crore on marketing & promotions, and setting up the plumbing infrastructure,” he shares explaining that the company has 150 plumbers, across India, and it invests in their training and development.
