Leading laminates manufacturer Greenlam has won the Interzum Award for High Quality Product 2025 in the Materials & Nature category. Greenlam won this prestigious recognition for its Aurix Collection of melamine-faced chipboard (MFC). Interzum is the world’s leading trade fair for furniture production and interior design held in Cologne, Germany. The Aurix Collection also made its international debut this year at Interzum.
According to the award citation, “The Aurix collection from Greenlam MFC redefines surfaces – with an ultra-soft feel, maintenance-friendly structure and directionless design to optimise materials. Inspired by Indian lighting aesthetics and Italian creativity, it combines iridescent effects, moiré patterns and the finest engraving technology. The result of a European partnership, Aurix combines technological sophistication with artistic ambition – for multi-sensory interiors of the future.”
Speaking about the achievement, Greenlam Industries director Parul Mittal said, “Representing Greenlam Industries at Interzum is always an honour, but this year is particularly special. We are the first Indian company to receive the Interzum Award for High Quality Product 2025. This is a global recognition that reflects our commitment to both elevated aesthetics and sustainable material innovation. It’s truly a proud moment to represent India and be acknowledged among the global elite on such a prestigious platform.”
Mittal added that Aurix is the outcome of an advanced collaboration between CARRARA SRL, Italy, and leading European surface texture manufacturers. “This partnership has led to a highly innovative surface that delivers unparalleled aesthetics, performance, and tactile excellence.”
At Interzum 2025, Greenlam presented a compelling portfolio of next-gen surfacing solutions, including its flagship collections Greenlam High Pressure Laminates (HPL), Greenlam Compacts, AFX (anti-fingerprint surfaces), Exterior Grade Clads, Stratus range for tabletops and kitchen surfaces, and Greenlam MFC.
