Interior fittings specialist Häfele has introduced Meister Service, an installation service for its key hardware products. Complete installation of hardware products will be provided by Hafele’s trained and certified service technicians, at a reasonable cost. With this, the service portfolio of Häfele now includes designing for kitchens, wardrobes; installation guidance and demonstrations; hardware scheduling and overall after-sales support.
“Meister Service seeks to take complete control of the customer experience to ensure top quality products from us with accurate and seamless installation,” informs Jürgen Wolf, managing director of Häfele South Asia. He adds that untrained carpenters or contractors completely compromise the quality and functionality of Hafele’s fittings, which affects the overall brand proposition. “With Meister Service, we intend to take control of this and provide installation services for sophisticated product categories like sliding fittings, kitchen fittings, furniture fittings and architectural hardware which require detailed attention and considerable skill to be installed accurately,” says Wolf.
The installations will be managed by the company’s Meister Certified technicians, who have been rigorously trained on every product falling under the purview of the service. According to the company, Meister Service is a win-win; customers are happy because they get a perfect installation and Hefele will not have unsatisfied customers whose installation has been botched by an untrained carpenter.
Häfele’s Meister Service will be offered across the country through a team of over 45 certified technicians. The service will include site-visit, inspection, and measurement along with fittings inspection, installation and handover of site to the customer. According to the company, the primary objective of the service is to ensure accurate installation of products as per standards and specifications. It also aims to achieve optimum functionality through proper installation, along with reduced hassles of product replacement.
