Building materials manufacturer Kamdhenu has joined hands with Spanish paint maker Graphenstone to bring safe eco-friendly paints to India. Kamdhenu has acquired exclusive rights to import and market the products in the country. These paints are free of volatile organic compounds (VOC). Given the heightened consciousness among consumers for the environment, the move is aimed at tapping growing demand for high-quality, green paints.
“At Kamdhenu Limited we remain committed to our cause of being a green, environment-friendly paint company. We have woven it into our day-to-day business activities to run sustainable operations, and this association reiterates the commitment. We are optimistic that this new range of eco-friendly paints will find considerable demand in India,” said Saurabh Agarwal, director at Kamdhenu.
“The Kamdhenu-Graphenstone range of paint products is non-toxic, free of VOC emissions, have no odour and can be tinted to any colour with non-toxic tints. They are produced from fewer than 250 chemical components and more than 98% of these chemicals are derived from plant sources and minerals. The raw materials are also low in toxic substances and renewable, and thus have low environmental footprint,” added Gian Carlo, director of marketing and communications at Graphenstone. ')}
