Merino’s Experience Centre Comes up in Mumbai

Laminates major Merino Industries has set up the Merino Experience Centre in Mumbai. The centre was inaugurated recently by Ar Hafeez Contractor in the presence of Ar Chandrashekar Kanitkar, Ar Bakir Baldiwala, Narsi Kularia, Bhupesh Mistry and Deepak Lakhani. This experience centre has been set up exclusively for industry professionals and will serve as a one-stop solution for all surface needs.

“Merino Group has always been a customer-friendly brand; now the group intends to find new ways to develop a close association with the customers – especially the architect and interior design fraternity – to explain the power to create ‘customised surface products’. We intend to do this by giving them the freedom to choose a variety of designs, textures, finishes and subsets, from one brand with the ease of getting customisation as per individual’s requirements,” said Prakash Lohia, managing director of Merino Group, on the sidelines of the inaugural event. “We aim to deliver additional experiences and broaden the knowledge horizons by giving information about the latest innovations in the surface industry.”

The Mumbai centre showcases all that Merino has to offer – decorative laminates, compacts, PU acrylic panels, internal and external wall cladding, restroom solutions, etc. Besides displaying the company’s complete bouquet of products, the experience centre enables visitors to experience them in real life settings with all possible surface combinations.

“The experience centre is open exclusively for industry professionals as we intend to showcase the application of products – technical propositions, options to mix match various surfaces, etc – in real life scenario,” shared Madan Singi, Merino Group. He advised customers to bring along their professional consultants when they visit the centre.

Merino has also launched Imagino digital laminate that can be customised with any design. “The laminate can be used as it is, or on a panel or compact. The same compact can be used as an internal wall cladding solution with customised designs. Above all, finishes from suede to matt to gloss to mirror-like can be incorporated in it.
