Sanitaryware major Cera has forayed into water heating solutions segment with the launch of Viva range of instant and storage water heaters.
“The market for water heaters in India is growing at an annual rate of 15%, estimated market size will be close to Rs 2,500 crores and at Cera we aim to capture 10% of the organised electric water heater market within a year by using the strength of our brand and distribution channel,” Atul Sanghvi, the company’s executive director has said. “The organised sector constitutes 60% of the market, of which 70% is electric water heaters,” he added.
