With government’s thrust on affordable housing and smart cities, CERA hopes for higher growth in coming quarters.
Home solutions provider CERA has taken the lead in passing on benefits accruing due to rationalisation of taxes on faucets following the implementation of GST to customers, by reducing the MRP of faucets. “We are happy to announce that we are passing on GST benefits to our customers. We have already reduced the MRP of our faucets,” shared Atul Sanghvi, executive director, CERA.
“CERA is now offering 15 year warranty on its faucets, an industry-first in India,” Sanghvi added. He claimed that no faucet brand is currently offering 15 years warranty in India.
Speaking on preparedness as far as GST compliance is concerned, he said that CERA is already GST ready and has commenced dispatches at revised rates. “With the implementation of GST and also with the government’s thrust on affordable housing and smart cities, CERA is hoping for higher growth in the coming quarters.”
Sharing more on the manufacturing capability of the company, Sanghvi said that CERA has a state-of-the-art plant for faucets in Kadi (Gujarat), adjacent to its sanitaryware facility. “The faucet plant is equipped with low pressure die-casting machines, robotic polishing, automatic chrome plating unit and 3-D printing.” ')}
