V5 Locks has informed that it will expand its channel network by adding another 50-70 dealers in the current year. The company has 150 dealers currently. It manufactures and exports locks and builders hardware.
“We have good business presence in the states of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Delhi; and are now looking to cater to the states of Kerala, Himachal Pradesh and Assam. This year we have set a target for ourselves – to add 50-70 business partners in these states,” shared Imran Mohammed, the director of the company. “The company, based in Aligarh, has been in operations since 1983 and our products (handles, locks) are known for their quality and reliability; this will be our greatest differentiators as we enter new markets,” said Mohammed.
The company, he said, is soliciting dealership offers in these markets and is open to partnering with people in the trade. “A potential dealer with sound financials, goodwill in the market and industry knowledge would be a great catch,” he said.
“We will play on the quality and price fronts; our complete range of products is backed by a 10-year warranty. The margins will be competitive and will be product specific,” he averred. Mohammed added that the company would take care of product training, in-showroom space development, product catalogues, and support in trade-fair participation. ')}
