SOMANY has expanded its French Collection of bath fittings with the SOMANY Claris faucet collection, a faucet range built around minimalist forms, two finish options and technologies aimed at water flow and operating durability. The collection includes basin and wall-mounted configurations, with Chrome and Rose Gold finishes intended to work across contemporary bathroom settings.
A Minimalist Design Language
SOMANY Claris faucet collection follows a restrained design approach characterised by clean lines, softened edges and balanced proportions. Rather than using decorative detailing, the collection relies on the form and finish of the fittings to create its visual identity.
The design extends consistently across the range, from deck-mounted basin mixers to wall-mounted fittings and concealed diverters. This allows different faucet configurations within a bathroom to follow the same design language.
SOMANY positions Claris as part of its French Collection, which brings contemporary European design influences into its bath fittings portfolio.
Chrome and Rose Gold Finishes
The collection is offered in Chrome and Rose Gold. Chrome provides a bright, neutral metallic finish, while Rose Gold introduces a warmer tone for bathrooms using richer material and colour palettes.
According to SOMANY, the Rose Gold variant uses PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating technology to improve resistance to scratches, corrosion and everyday wear. The coating is intended to help the finish retain its appearance over extended use.
The Rose Gold option also gives Claris a more distinctive material character while retaining the same relatively simple geometry across the collection.
Water Flow and Cartridge Technology
Claris incorporates SOMANY’s Oxi Stream Technology, which aerates the water stream to produce a softer, controlled flow.
The company says the technology is designed to optimise water consumption while reducing splashing around the wash basin. Aeration also changes the feel of the water stream during everyday use without altering the collection’s external design.
For control and operation, the faucets use SOMANY’s Aqua Life Cartridge. According to the manufacturer, the cartridge has been developed for durability and consistent handle movement over extended periods of use.
Together, these technologies address two functional aspects of the faucet: the character of the water flow and the movement of the operating handle.
Applications Across Contemporary Bathrooms
Claris is designed for use with contemporary basins, bathroom surfaces and coordinated interiors. The available configurations within SOMANY Claris faucet collection allow the collection’s design language to extend across different water-control requirements within the bathroom.
The deck-mounted basin mixers provide conventional countertop installation, while the wall-mounted basin mixer moves the spout and control onto the wall. The concealed diverter provides a corresponding control format for shower applications.
